Ja Morant’s future with the Memphis Grizzlies has been “must-monitor” for groups across the league going again to final June, in response to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
There have been “rumbles” then that the Grizzlies wouldn’t provide Morant a contract extension when he grew to become eligible for one, and that the workforce would now not construct across the level guard.
Morant nonetheless has two years remaining on his contract after this season.
The Grizzlies extended Jaren Jackson Jr. in June.
Morant was suspended one recreation by the Grizzlies for conduct detrimental to the workforce. Rival groups are reportedly “monitoring” the state of affairs.
Morant is predicted to rejoin the workforce on Monday.
