Jabari Smith is recent off signing a five-year, $122 million rookie-scale contract extension with the Rockets that’s totally assured by the 2030-31 season. “It feels great to just know that you’re committed to the city where you want to be. I want to be here for the rest of my career,” Smith told the Chronicle on Friday. “So I’m glad that this can be a good begin to it, and I’m able to construct one thing.”
