Aaron Farinacci, 37, was arrested by authorities Monday and is being charged with first-degree arson, officers stated. Farinacci is being held on a $1 million bond and is predicted to look in court docket Tuesday.

All three fires ignited on Saturday afternoon, authorities stated. Collectively, the three fires are being referred to as the Spokane Complex Fire.
As of Monday afternoon, the three fires had collectively burned greater than 10,000 acres with 0% containment, in keeping with officers. At the least 700 buildings, together with properties and companies, have been destroyed within the ongoing fires.
