A federal decide has quickly blocked the Trump administration from designating AI firm Anthropic a “supply-chain danger to nationwide safety.”
“The report helps an inference that Anthropic is being punished for criticizing the federal government’s contracting place within the press,” wrote U.S. District Decide Rita Lin. “Punishing Anthropic for bringing public scrutiny to the federal government’s contracting place is basic unlawful First Modification retaliation.”
