A US navy choose has ordered Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11 assaults, and three co-defendants to face trial, greater than 20 years after their arrest.

The ruling comes after a US appeals courtroom blocked plea offers that may have let Mohammed and two co-defendants keep away from the demise penalty.
