    Government shutdown updates: Pentagon accepts $130M donation to help pay troops

    As lawmakers head dwelling for the weekend – making certain the shutdown will drag into the following week – one other week has handed on Capitol Hill with little, if any, progress to reopen the federal government.

    “I believe that that is one thing that the Congress must deal with amongst itself.
