The Meals and Drug Administration (FDA) stated on Friday it has discovered a possible supply of the cyclosporiasis outbreak that was tied to lettuce over the summer season.
The company collected samples throughout its onsite inspections of Taylor Farms de Mexico services, it stated.
Two samples examined constructive for the parasite, cyclospora, based on the FDA. One constructive pattern was from a tank that held outgoing wastewater from a processing facility, the company stated. The second constructive pattern was from a drainage ditch of an iceberg lettuce grower, it famous.
