    Alleged Bondi Beach gunman charged with 15 counts of murder, police say

    The 24-year-old man who allegedly opened fireplace alongside his father on a Jewish gathering at Australia’s Bondi Seaside has been charged with committing a terrorist act, 15 counts of homicide and dozens of different offenses, the New South Wales Police stated on Wednesday.

    Naveed Akram has been charged with 59 offenses, together with 40 counts of inflicting wounding or grievous bodily hurt to an individual with intent to homicide, police stated in an announcement.
