    Trump blames Minnesota governor, not Iran, for cyberattacks on the state’s water systems

    President Donald Trump on Friday blamed Minnesota’s Democratic governor for cyberattacks on the state’s water programs although U.S. officers previously told ABC News authorities are investigating whether or not Iran or hackers related to the nation could possibly be behind them.

    Greater than 30 water programs in Minnesota had been focused in a cyberattack Sunday and Monday in keeping with Minnesota IT Companies (MNIT).

    MNIT stated the attackers focused programs to remotely monitor and management gear, together with the programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

    The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Safety Company (CISA) stated in an alert Thursday that cyber risk actors are concentrating on PLCs and modifying passwords to “to lock out operators.”

    Regardless of the warnings, Trump laid the blame on Minnesota and Democratic Gov. Tim Walz.
