    UK to ban deepfake AI ‘nudification’ apps

    The UK authorities says it would ban so-called “nudification” apps as a part of efforts to deal with misogyny on-line.

    New legal guidelines – introduced on Thursday as a part of a wider strategy to halve violence against women and girls – will make it unlawful to create and provide AI instruments letting customers edit photographs to seemingly take away somebody’s clothes.
