Two legislation enforcement officers have been concerned in a crash Friday evening whereas offering safety for Vice President JD Vance’s motorcade in Maryville, Tennessee, leaving one officer critically injured, officers stated.
An officer within the Maryville Police Division’s motor unit and a state trooper have been concerned within the incident “throughout an govt safety mission involving a number of legislation enforcement companies,” Maryville officers stated.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Secret Service confirmed to ABC Information that the motorcade included Vance.

Maryville police officers stated the officer was in crucial situation.
