To the story “UW study: ICE hasn’t sanctioned state facility over abuses” (July 18, A1), I’d add, “neither is it doubtless to take action.”
The well being and questions of safety on the Northwest ICE Processing Middle in Tacoma, which is run by a personal firm, GEO Group, have been identified for years.
GEO is a world firm on the New York Inventory Alternate and the abuses taking place in Tacoma are widespread to all GEO detention facilities.
