Bitcoin treasury Technique has blasted Morgan Stanley Capital Worldwide’s proposal to exclude it from its World Investable Market Indexes, calling it “misguided” and “flawed.”

Writing in a letter to MSCI Monday, the Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin behemoth’s founder, Michael Saylor, and CEO, Phong Le, stated that the corporate was discriminating towards digital asset companies.

MSCI said earlier this month that it was consulting on a plan to outline “non-operating firms” and make them ineligible for its World Investable Market Indexes. The removing of such firms would exclude companies like Technique from indexes seen to a big pool of institutional traders.

Technique responded at the moment to MSCI’s proposed “non-operating firm” exclusion. Whereas not materials to $MSTR, the proposal is misguided, flawed, and conflicts with established securities legal guidelines and accounting rules.
