A capturing in a Minnesota park has spurred Republican legislators to name for a crackdown on Somali gang exercise.
Crime Watch Minneapolis stated that about 50 Somali youth had been at Yancey Park in Edina when pictures had been fired on Wednesday evening, in response to Alpha News.

“First it was an estimated $9 billion in fraud, now it’s out-of-control violence. These Somali gangs have shot up highschool graduations and assaulted gamers on opposing basketball groups with tire irons. It’s absolute insanity, and one thing should be executed,” he stated.
Emmer urged U.S. Lawyer Daniel Rosen to take motion in a letter expressing “grave considerations in regards to the rise of Somali gang exercise in Mim1esota, resulting in a rise in crime and violence all through the state, and we prolong our full help in prosecuting these concerned to the fullest extent of the regulation.”
The letter famous that after Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher spoke about a rise in Somali gang violence, political leaders chastised him.

The letter was signed by Emmer and fellow Republican Reps. Pete Stauber, Brad Finstad, and Michelle Fischbach.
Earlier this month, Fletcher stated his workplace has linked Somali gangs to 14 murders and greater than 100 shootings over the previous two years, in response to Alpha Information.
Fletcher estimated about 300 younger individuals belonging to a dozen or so gangs are on the root of the issue.
