President Donald Trump wrote on social media that the U.S. naval blockade within the Strait of Hormuz won’t be lifted till the U.S. and Iran attain a deal.
“(This has been, along with all the things else, Regime Change!), and maybe, most essential of all, THE BLOCKADE, which we won’t take off till there’s a “DEAL,” is completely destroying Iran,” Trump wrote.
In a separate submit, the president claimed that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has “compelled” different international locations to return to the U.S. for oil.
“The Iranian management has compelled a whole lot of Ships towards america, principally Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to get their Oil — Thanks very a lot!” he wrote.
