My husband and I’ve reached our 70s, and for all of our daughter’s life, our primary concern has been what’s going to occur to her once we die. This can be a chorus we now have shared with many mother and father of kids with disabilities.
Stacy Dym’s op-ed advocates for take care of disabled residents. Fortunately, after a few years, the Washington State Division of Social and Well being Providers has just lately supplied our daughter with a brand new dwelling that enables her to reside independently locally. My husband and I are very grateful for the care and assist she receives in her new dwelling.
It’s my want that every one those that want these providers will be capable of obtain them. State of Washington, please present these providers to those that want them. They not solely help the person, however strengthen our total group.
