    Screencap of Twitter/X video.

New York Metropolis mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, the far-left Democrat Socialist frontrunner, gave an emotional speech outdoors a Bronx mosque on Friday, the place he tearfully denounced Islamophobia within the race.

However whereas Mamdani framed himself because the sufferer of discrimination, the actual concern is his file: a politician who promotes socialism, sympathizes with extremists, and embraces rhetoric that’s deeply hostile towards Jewish New Yorkers.

Mamdani advised supporters that his members of the family confronted post-9/11 discrimination, together with his aunt’s concern of carrying a hijab on the subway.

He accused his opponents—Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa—of stoking bigotry by tying him to terrorism.

But this dramatic performance can’t erase the truth that Mamdani has made a profession out of pushing socialist dogma and aligning with organizations that demonize Israel and the Jewish neighborhood.

As a proud member of the Democrat Socialists of America, Mamdani has supported the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) motion towards Israel, a marketing campaign that even many Democrats admit is antisemitic at its core.

He has defended activists who name Israel an “apartheid state,” a slur that echoes rhetoric utilized by Hamas and different terrorist teams.

When Jewish communities in New York confronted a surge of violent antisemitic assaults in recent times, Mamdani was fast guilty “systemic oppression” relatively than standing firmly with the victims.

Mamdani calls for that New Yorkers rally round him when he claims discrimination however exhibits no such solidarity when Jewish college students are harassed on campuses, synagogues are vandalized, or when Hamas rockets rain down on civilians in Israel.

His “tears” on the marketing campaign path ring hole when his file reveals open hostility to Jewish self-determination and blind allegiance to radical ideology.

Mamdani’s socialist platform ought to alarm each New Yorker. He has called for slashing police budgets at the same time as crime devastates working-class neighborhoods.

He helps huge authorities spending, hire cancellation, and financial redistribution that may bankrupt small companies and drive extra taxpayers out of the town.

Simply as socialism crippled Venezuela and Cuba, Mamdani’s insurance policies would destroy the financial engine of America’s largest metropolis.

Early polls present Mamdani with 47% assist, main Cuomo and Sliwa by double digits.

That lead ought to frighten each New Yorker who values freedom, security, and prosperity.

Mamdani’s tears could win headlines, however they can not cowl up the fact: his model of antisemitism and socialism is harmful.

New York doesn’t want a mayor who blames America and Israel whereas embracing radical ideology.

Relatively, it wants a pacesetter who will shield all communities, restore public security, and reject the socialist experiment that Mamdani desires to drive on thousands and thousands of hardworking residents.
