4 folks have been killed and eight others have been injured in a mass shooting and fire during worship services at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Grand Blanc, Michigan, on Sunday.
“We mourn with our members who’ve misplaced family members, and we take part prayer for consolation with others world wide who’re affected by related tragedies,” Dallin H. Oaks, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, stated in a press release.
“All of us search solutions and understanding within the wake of trauma, shock, and grief. We’re grateful to all who’re reaching out with service, prayers, and phrases of assist throughout this tough time,” Oaks stated.

John Bond — a beloved husband, father and grandfather — was among the many 4 folks killed within the taking pictures, his household confirmed to ABC Information.
A nine-year veteran of the US Navy, Bond was a “well-known and cherished member of his household and energetic in his neighborhood,” his household stated.
He cherished spending time together with his household and grandkids, enjoying golf and researching trains, they stated.
