Lander was arrested throughout a protest in June after being accused of assaulting a legislation enforcement officer. Lander denied the allegation and mentioned he was not charged following the incident.
Earlier this week, a federal decide ordered the Trump administration to improve conditions for detained migrants on the holding facility contained in the constructing.
