Alaska Airways resumed operations late Sunday about 3 hours after having requested a floor cease for all of its flights, in response to the airline and the Federal Aviation Administration.
“At roughly 8 p.m. Pacific on Sunday, Alaska Airways skilled an IT outage that’s impacting our operations. We requested a short lived, system-wide floor cease for Alaska and Horizon Air flights till the difficulty is resolved,” the airline mentioned in a press release Sunday night.
The airline mentioned it resumed operations at about 11 p.m. PT.
“We apologize to our company for this inconvenience. There will probably be residual impacts to our operation all through the night. If you’re touring tonight, please test the standing of your flight earlier than leaving for the airport,” the assertion continued.
