Thanks for the clarification of how the brand new tax invoice might be phased in (“When will Trump’s ‘big’ tax law take effect? Here’s what to expect,” July 15, Nation & World). After all, tax breaks for the rich will come instantly, as will the tip of electric-car and green-home credit.
Don’t be fooled by cuts to Medicaid that don’t part in till after the midterms — too many GOP members of Congress know this might harm their reelection bids. So let’s thank those that voted in opposition to this horrible invoice that brings America nearer to feudalism, and remind those who voted for it that they’ve till the midterms to vary the horrible future this invoice will carry.
We will vote accordingly, rewarding those that fought in opposition to it and ousting those that voted for it, our final energy in democracy!
